What to Expect

This is camping like you’ve never experienced before - hence the word ‘glamping’ - it means glamorous camping. You will fall asleep under the stars in your own private safari-style tent on a comfortable foam mattress surrounded by trees and nature. Enjoy your morning coffee sitting on your deck or in the hammock while listening to the birds chirp away, chipmunks playing or maybe catch a glimpse of a deer in the early mornings or late evenings.

Spend your days exploring the trails or shopping in town, grab a bite at one of the delicious restaurants and then come back to relax around the campfire or take a soak in your personal hot tub.

We are a small flower farm with a beautiful fieldstone barn and natural springs on the property. Please keep in mind that during our sunflower season (mid August into September), we are busier on the weekends. Guests have complimentary access to the sunflower fields and can enjoy the breathtaking sunset views.

Each luxury safari-style tent has a queen sized bed with Sealy foam mattress, private covered deck, espresso machine, coffee and tea, bluetooth speaker, fan, hammock, picnic table and hot tub.

When you arrive, we will bring you to your luxury tent to drop off your luggage. We will then review the area and the facilities available to you – including your own outdoor hot tub, under the stars. We do not allow cooking on our property but rather encourage you to enjoy the many restaurants in the area. Coffee and Tea is provided in your tent.

Romantic getaway? Please let us know if we can help plan any romantic surprises. Want a bottle of bubbly, chocolates, flowers or anything else prepared - please let us know! There are many local businesses that we work with to bring you the the best experience possible while you stay with us. We can help arrange a special package upon arrival.

Bikes are available for our guests to use (must be signed out). Elora has many wonderful trails, shops and historical places you can visit in and around town. Town is about a 10-15 min walk if you do not wish to bike. Once you have made a booking, we will send you an information package to help you plan your visit and make any required reservations.

At this time, our glamping is an adults only facility and cannot accommodate children or pets. Thank you for your understanding. We ask that all our guests please respect the property, the environment and the wildlife to make sure everyone can continue to enjoy its beauty. Guests are not permitted to invite other people to the property that are not staying with us.

What people are saying

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful glamping tent! Melinda and Tim were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The tent was very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was so nice to sleep with the tent windows (with screens) open and though it rained, we did not get wet or have bugs inside. There was an espresso machine, water and a cooler inside as well as a guide to the town of Elora. The bathrooms and showers were also very nice and clean. The tent is a short walk to the downtown area and you could easily walk to the Grand River Conservation Authority area as well - for tubing and hiking in the gorge. We highly recommend this glamping tent and hope to be back soon!

Melinda and Tim were incredible hosts - always super responsive and friendly. We were greeted immediately by Tim, who even offered to help carry out bags, and were shown to our beautiful tent and around the property. The accommodations, washroom facilities, and property were extremely clean and well maintained. We loved the outdoor showers (great water pressure!). In our tent there was everything we could possibly need - beyond the basics there was even thoughtful touches like a speaker for music, wine glasses, umbrellas, and even a s'mores kit! My partner and I really enjoyed the extra amenities too like the hammock, hot tub, and perfectly distanced fire pit. Gold stars for also keeping everything environmentally friendly and eco conscious as well! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested and we plan on coming back ourselves.

This was our first time glamping, and it was definitely a memorable experience. The tents have everything you need to truly enjoy your stay (comfortable beds, lighting, cups, towels, cooler, etc.), the washrooms were very clean and easy to use, the entire glamping area was fun to explore, and the hosts were very hospitable. On top of all that, the location is very close to the town; either a five-ten minute bike ride (bikes are available for guests to use) or a ten-fifteen minute walk. The town is lovely to explore and has many great restaurants (we recommend booking dining in advance). Also, the area has lots of trails that you can explore and activities to do. Definitely a must-stay place if you're planning on visiting Elora.

Stop what you’re doing, look no further! This is the place you need to stay when visiting Elora! We had an amazing stay “glamping” on this beautiful sunflower farm! The tents were super clean and had everything you need, a comfy bed, fan coffee machine and even a Bluetooth speaker! It was so well designed and almost felt like you were staying at a cute spa resort. The bathrooms were clean and the toilets were even high tech! The beautiful outdoor shower was spacious and unique and to top it off going into the hot tub at the end of the day was the icing on the cake! Melinda and Tim were very nice and accommodating, definitely the best hosts I’ve had ever staying at an air bnb. You can text them with any questions or requests you may have and they responded quickly. They put a lot of thought into these accommodations and I wish nothing but success for them with this business. We can’t wait to come back!

A lot of times you see pictures with listings and cross your fingers that when you get there it will look as good as them, but these glamping tents tucked away in a forest lot beside a sunflower farm far exceeded them. The space is truly magical right from the start following the winding trails through the woods to each tent side, exploring all the extra touches that were put into every tent and it's amenities, then swaying in a hammock staring up at the trees while you sip a nespresso espresso or cup of local tea. Even the toilets and showers are state of the art and better / cleaner than a lot of actual hotels I've stayed in. The icing on the cake? Sitting in the hot tub staring up at the stars, or in a muskoka chair by the camp fire right beside the flower fields. As you head back to your tent the space is illuminated by solar lanterns, their light flickering off all the little fairy details along the path bringing them to life. As you walk strands of fairy lights flick on along the path (motion sensors I think) illuminating trees with hundreds of little lights. I'm going to stop there before I reveal all the spoilers LOL. Melinda and Tim were the perfect hosts and created such an amazing space, you have to check it out if you're looking for the perfect glamping experience. We'll definitely visit again.

This is one of the best stays I ever had with Airbnb. The hosts are really nice who welcomed us and gave a really thorough introduction of the place and even a little history of the stone barn. The place is absolutely gorgeous, clean, and has basically everything you would think of for a luxury camping experience. I'm normally not a big fan of the bathroom/shower during stays elsewhere, but at Melinda's place it turned out to be a quite enjoyable experience. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

This is absolutely the best mini-getaway from the city, only an hour and a half from Toronto. Nature setting but with city amenities such as clean drinking water and a hot tub lol. Melinda and Tim have thought of everything which makes for a very comfortable experience. Nothing beats sitting in the hot tub under twinkling lights, watching the stars. The canoe passes were a great little extra treat that we really appreciated. Elora is beautiful little town, we can’t wait to be back during the Sunflower season.
